Visteight - A Windows 10 22H2 Theme
One day, I had a good idea: I love skeumorphic and Metro UI, so why not both? So... This is the amalgamation that came out. Anyways, Windows 10 is supposedly dying--so I figured out that this OS will be so good to use for a while.
"Windows 10 reached end of support on October 14, 2025 For ten years, Windows 10 has been the go-to operating system for building, creating, and connecting. Now, like any trusted tool, it's time for an upgrade." - Microsoft
Well, there's a reason to not upgrade! These 3 years are gonna be so good without OS breaking updates and full on customization potential!

Installing The Theme
Patching your system for custom themes.
This is a one-time thing you'll need to do before diving through the wonderful world of Windows Customization. I would recommend Linux for more insane customization, but that is another story.
Download SecureUXThemePatcher aka ThemeTool and run it to patch your system.
Wait for the setup to be done.
After SecureUxTheme have done patching your system, it will prompt you to restart, When you are ready, please restart.
Actually Installing the Theme
Well, this should be remembered because it's fairly important. To install anything using SecureUxTheme, you must move the contents of Aero10 Vista/Seven Theme by Vaporvance or any other themes to C:\Windows\Resources\Themes.
The file structure should look like this:
And so, just apply it through Settings > Personalization > Themes
AWM (Aero Window Manager) Setup
Download the Aero Window Manager zip file.
Next, unzip the file contents directly to C:\awm so it looks like this:
Open a cmd process as administrator and execute the command regsvr32 c:\awm\msdia140_awm.dll. A message should pop up telling you that the
operation has succeeded.
Then, run task scheduler by searching from the search menu in the taskbar/Start Menu or running it with the Run (Win+R) Program or just running it directly from C:\Windows\System32\taskschd.msc
Then, Navigate to Task Scheduler Library
Then, press the [Create Task] button
Then, Just insert whatever description you wanted to... And press [Change User or Group] when done.
In the "Enter the Object name to select (examples):" field, insert the word "SYSTEM", then press OK
Now, it should display NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM in the main interface. Your next step is to
Then, Go to the Triggers tab, then press new. Change the "Begin the task" option to At log on.
After pressing OK, go to the Action tab and press [New] again. Then, Make sure that the Action is to Start a program, then input "C:\awm\injector.exe" at the Program/Script field. After that, just press OK.
Make sure to toggle off these options in the Conditions Tab:
- Start the task only if the computer is on AC Power
After that, toggle on the [Run Task as soon as possible...] option and the [If the task fails...]
Then Press OK, and run the task by selecting it and pressing the Run button.
Now, you might be wondering, WHY DOES NOTHING CHANGES? well, because you need to modify the awm options by opening the awmConfigurator, exe in the same C:\awm directory.
Here is what you must set it to:
And then, voila, your windows should have changed a lot!
OpenGlass Setup
Oh boy, Aero transparency! You could also use DWMBlurglass, but OpenGlass is a classic.
WORK IN PROGRESS!!
